Jeszcze nie tak dawno temu ideałem mężczyzny, był facet, który polował, rąbał drzewo i potrafił się bić tzw. typ macho. Dziś mężczyźni muszą ładnie pachnieć, nosić modne ciuszki, używać tony kosmetyków, zakładać mocno opięte spodnie i paradować w jaskrawych japonkach. W związku z tym nasuwa się pytanie: kiedy doszło do tych zmian? Co jest przyczyną zniewieściałości współczesnego faceta? No i gdzie ci mężczyźni? Czy w obecnych czasach jest jeszcze miejsce dla prawdziwych mężczyzn?
„Gdzie ci mężczyźni” – czyli obraz faceta kiedyś i dziś
Drogie kobietki z jakim obrazem kojarzy Wam się prawdziwy mężczyzna? Czy oczami wyobraźni nie widzicie Adonisa z naprężonymi bicepsami, rozpiętą koszulą oraz spodniami opinającymi wysportowany tyłek.? Czy to nie jest wizerunek prawdziwego macho. Z drugiej strony idealna wysportowana sylwetka i męski chód w dzisiejszych czasach również nie jest synonimem męskości. Facet może być z wyglądu całkiem przeciętny a zarazem może być niesamowicie męski.
Zdaniem wielu psychologów, typ macho paradoksalnie wcale nie musi kojarzyć się źle. Taki mężczyzna był pewnego rodzaju rycerzem, do którego wszystkie kobiety wzdychały. Z drugiej zaś strony uchodził za kogoś kto, w każdym momencie nas ochroni i pomoże w sytuacjach kryzysowych. Może i był typem łobuza, notorycznie łamał serca – ale przynajmniej był jakiś.
Współczesny mężczyzna ma problem z ustaleniem własnej tożsamości. Zmieniły się wobec niego oczekiwania. Drogie kobietki nie oszukujmy się pragniemy, żeby facet był męski, przejmował inicjatywę, żeby to on nosił w „związku spodnie.”
Z drugiej zaś strony marzymy o delikatności i romantyzmie. Najlepszym połączeniem był by maczo, który mimo wszystko potrafi okazać czułość, romantyczność i opiekę. Zdaniem psychologów jest to nie lada wyzwanie dla współczesnego mężczyzny, ponieważ już sam nie wie czy ma być dominującym „samcem alfa” czy może „pantofelkiem” zgadzającym się na wszystko.
„Gdzie Ci mężczyźni” – czyli jak media wykreowały obraz współczesnego faceta
Media kreują dwie z grubsza inne wizję prawdziwego mężczyzny. Jedna z nich akcentuje różnice między płciami i podkreśla dominację mężczyzny. Druga to zupełnie nowa wizja faceta stawiającego na wartości takie jak: równość i partnerstwo płci. Nie ma się co czarować…, sporo mężczyzn wyraźnie niewieścieje. Niektórzy z nich, łączą w sobie cechy zarówno męskie, jak i żeńskie. Inni z kolei zupełnie upodobniają się do kobiet. Wynika to głównie z bezstresowego wychowania.
Współcześni mężczyźni są w efekcie mniej odporni na stres oraz przesadnie dbają o swoją powierzchowność. Oczywiście nie ma w tym nic złego, że mężczyzna dba o siebie. Każda z nas chciałaby się przytulić do pachnącego, schludnego faceta. Co innego znaczy zadbany mężczyzna, a co innego przesadnie zapatrzony w siebie narcyz. W momencie, kiedy facet ma więcej kosmetyków niż kobieta, to znaczy, że „coś jest nie tak”.

Podsumowanie
Niestety…, ale coraz częściej słyszy się o zniewieściałych mężczyznach. Przechodząc ulicą możemy zaobserwować zarówno zachowanie jak i styl współczesnych panów. Najczęściej są to młodzi ludzie, dla których wygląd stał się priorytetem. Nie obca jest im kosmetyczka, solarium, depilacja czy aktualne trendy. Według naszych wyobrażeń idealny facet powinien być odważny, silny, odpowiedzialny, pewny siebie oraz musiałby odpowiednio zadbać o swoją kobietę.
Dzisiejszy świat w większości oferuje nam mężczyzn zniewieściałych. Z drugiej zaś strony nasuwa się pytanie: czy to, aby nie nasza wina.? Tak drogie kobietki… to my rozpoczęliśmy batalię o równouprawnienie. Oczywiście, jest to dobra przemiana. Kobiety powinny realizować się tam, gdzie chcą.
Ale przy okazji stałyśmy się bardziej męskie przejęłyśmy obowiązki przypisane niegdyś mężczyzną. Stałyśmy się niezależne, same jesteśmy w stanie wychować dzieci. Coraz częściej zajmujemy pozycje, które niegdyś były przypisane tylko panom. W pewnym sensie odebrały mężczyznom ich męskość. Być może to my jesteśmy główną przyczyną tych przemian. A być może to media, które kreują jakiś nierealny ideał faceta, za którym mężczyźni ślepo podążają.
